An Inside Look

I'm Jacob Daniel,

 

I am a concert pianist, singer, entertainer and teacher based out of Portland Oregon. I specialize in dueling pianos and all request shows. My favorite instrument is the grand piano, but I also play electric keyboard and guitar.

 

I have a vast array of repertoire including classical, jazz, country, rock and pop.

Knowing over one thousand songs allows me to take requests and play a variety of events. 

 

I graduated from George Fox University in 2017 with a BA in Music Composition. My original compositions have been described as thoughtful, soothing and experimental at times. Because of my love of many different styles of music, my compositions range from experimental jazz to folk. 

 

I have a background in theater, both as a performer and as an accompanist. I have worked with theater companies like Broadway Rose, George Fox, and CYT. In 2018 I was awarded the  Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival Meritorious Achievement Award for Outstanding Musicianship.
